MORBID ANGEL: Tim Yeung Discusses Learning "Hard" Songs, Drumming Techniques & Future Projects!

Iconic Death Metallers MORBID ANGEL are currently part of a month long North American tour with Sweden's DARK FUNERAL, GRAVE and VADIM VON. The tour will conclude on October 19th in San Antonio, Texas and is NOT to be missed! The band is touring in support of their latest album, 'Illud Divinum Insanus' which was released by Season of Mist last year. The very controversial album is MORBID ANGEL's eighth studio release and is the first album in 16 years to feature bassist/vocalist David Vincent. Last Wednesday, September 26, MORBID ANGEL performed at B.B. King's in New York City and proved once again why they are one of the strongest live bands in the world. In typical MORBID ANGEL fashion, the band was nursing a brutal hangover after a day/night off in the "Big Apple", but this did not affect their performance whatsoever. After all, they all are professional drinkers! Prior to the bands performance, we were able to chat with the bands skin master Tim Yeung. During the conversation, Yeung told us about the bands current tour in support of their latest album 'Illud Divinum Insanus' and how even he was surprised when he first heard the bands latest sonic arsenal. We also discussed drumming techniques and how he handles extensive recording sessions by using his favorite drumming weapons of choice. We also talked about his NEW Rock N' Roll driven band DEATH DIVISION and about the future of DIVINE HERESY. Crank the volume to 11 and listen up!
