¿Cómo identificar ISÓMEROS E, Z? | Química Orgánica

Cis-trans isomers (geometrical isomers) are isomers that differ in their cis-trans arrangements on a ring or double bond. Cis-trans isomers are a subclass of diastereomers. cis: have similar groups on the same side of a double bond or ring. trans: have similar groups on opposite sides of a double bond or ring. Z: have the highest priority groups on the same side of a double bond. E: have the highest priority groups on opposite sides of a double bond. 1. The relative priorities of the two groups depend on the atomic numbers of the atoms directly bonded to the sp2 carbon. The higher the atomic number, the higher the priority. 2. If the two groups bonded to an sp2 carbon begin on the same atom (there is a tie), you must move away from the point of bonding and take into account the atomic numbers of the atoms bonded to the "tied" atoms. 3. If an atom has a double bond with another atom, the priority system treats it as if it had single bonds with two of those atoms. If an atom has a triple bond with another atom, the priority system treats it as if it were bonded to three of those atoms, with single bonds. 4. If two isotopes (atoms with the same atomic number but different mass numbers) are compared, the mass number is used to determine relative priorities. 😎 Become a member of this channel to enjoy benefits: 👉🏾   / @laquimicadeyamil   🔔***=====Don't forget to subscribe=====***🔔 I recommend: ⚗️Introduction to Chemistry http://ow.ly/LChb50A98sd ⚗️Atomic Structure https://bit.ly/2YjNJMr ⚗️Inorganic Chemical Formulation and Nomenclature https://bit.ly/30YfJa1 ⚗️Stoichiometry https://bit.ly/2Nde2xi ⚗️Gases and Solutions https://bit.ly/2YUF5CX ⬇️Download free books on Chemistry in PDF format http://profeyamil.blogspot.com/p/desc...
