Soil regeneration at Arua Organic Agric Centre. Soils in Northern Uganda are completely depleted due to poor Agriculture Practices. "Slash and burn" is a regular practice where farmers destroy(burn) any organic residue found on the land. MTC is sponsoring a 2.5acres training center with over 50 different crop species under GAP (Good Agric Practices). In these 5 years over 5,000 small scale farmers have been trained receiving practical and theoretical information on how to revert the reality which makes the region poorer year after year.
