We left the busy NSW South Coast and headed into the Victorian High Country in our caravan, chasing remote riverside camps and 4WD tracks. With only a few weeks left before we head back to Queensland for the arrival of our baby, we decided to swap the busy NSW South Coast for one of our favourite regions — the Victorian High Country. This is the kind of place that reminds us why we chose this lifestyle. Riverside camps, quiet tracks, and the freedom to slow things down. But this trip wasn’t all smooth sailing… From tackling a 4WD track without the caravan, to racing the weather, river crossings, and making it over the Great Alpine Road before conditions turned — this one had a bit of everything.
