In this first Curacao Travel Series I go from Aruba to our sister island which is only a 20 minute plane ride away. After checking in to my beautiful place of stay which is the Terra Boutique Hotel, I quickly met up with my guide for today who will be taking me to several Plantation Houses in and around the capital of Willemstad. These plantation houses or "landhuis" the way they are called in Dutch played an important part in the history of this island.
