That morning, Ricarda went to work at Jillian’s Restaurant in downtown Memphis. Around 10:00 a.m., she left with her estranged husband. That was the last confirmed time anyone saw her. He told police he dropped her off at a domestic violence shelter. But the shelter says she never arrived. Ricarda never picked up her infant son that day. She never called. She never came home. Her wallet and phone were left behind raising immediate concern that something was wrong. Just weeks before her disappearance, Ricarda had reported an assault and was preparing to leave for her safety. She was trying to start over. Her family has always believed one thing: She would never leave her child behind. Since that day, there have been no confirmed sightings. No answers. Just silence.
