This is a detailed explanation of how to draw the development of surfaces of a truncated Pyramid. Concept of development of surface is explained clearly. In this problem development of lateral surface of a square pyramid cut by an auxiliary inclined plane is drawn. This problem is visualized by using solid models of square pyramid. A square pyramid of 40 mm side of base and height 60 mm rests with its base on HP with one of its edges of the base parallel to VP.
