California Rules on Private Security Badges and Patches

The badge/patch designs shown in this video are not illegal to use in many states, however contract security companies in California are prohibited from using them for duty purposes. Notice that at this time, this video only pertains to contract private security companies, private security guards, and private security officers. Unarmed proprietary security employers/officers currently,do not have to follow the same rules as it pertains to uniform requirements (but this can always change!)
