Cevapi are found all over the country and are one of the foods you have to eat when in Belgrade, Serbia, so of course cevapi was the first stop of our day, and not just any cevapi, cevapi with kajmak! The food in Belgrade is delicious, full of flavour and such amazing tastes. We continued our insane Serbian food tour in Belgrade, Serbia tasting a homemade kobasica sausage and a unique, but traditional dish. We stopped into a local kafana for a Serbian dish that is beloved by all, and so insanely delicious we now know why. Karađorđeva, filled with gooey melted kajmak, is a must try when you visit Serbia! Afterwards, we made sure we made it to meat haven by tasting the local pljeskavica. Pljeskavica is another popular Serbian food, and the one we had was insane, covered in kajmak! Our first exploration of Belgrade, Serbia was an incredibly tasty one, we can’t wait to explore more in this country of meat heaven!
