The government has announced that the construction of the modern SGR railway section from Makutupora to Tabora region has reached 14.5 percent. ​Deputy Minister for Works, Hon. David Kihenzile, provided the figures in Parliament today while responding to a question by Special Seats Member of Parliament, Hon. Sigrada Mligo, who wanted to know the stages of completion of the project. ​Hon. Kihenzile stressed that the construction has not stopped and is progressing rapidly in various areas towards the Lake Zone regions. ​Furthermore, he assured MPs that the government is committed to ensuring that the infrastructure is completed on time to stimulate the growth of the National economy.
