Mike from Sydney Motorsport Engineering also admits this shortcoming, and that’s why he’s made a fully bolt-on turbo kit, capable of making up to 500HP from the new FA24 equipped 86 / BRZ. Featuring a Turbosmart 5862 internally gated turbo with a Turbosmart OPR, full stainless steel exhaust system, RS intercooler, increased volume oil sump, aluminium and silicone hose package, oil cooler and more, the kit from SME is truly a fully featured bolt-on turbo kit. With the latest model updated to the FA24 engine, this kit is capable of pushing up to 500HP through a fully stock engine on E85, all while being able to be engineered for street driving. This particular car made 280KW at the wheels running on 98 octane petrol.
