Scuba Diving St. Augustine Capo North Reef

Scuba divers encountered thousands of fish as well as giant stingrays and massive Goliath Groupers. This reef is teaming with life. A great abundance of fish and marine life resides below the ocean surface offshore St. Johns County, Florida. This high-definition underwater footage was captured during a scuba diving investigation of the artificial reef named Capo North. This ocean habitat was created to benefit the marine environment and provide a recreational destination for fishermen and scuba divers. The reef was constructed by placing recycled concrete structures into the ocean 30 miles east of the St. Augustine inlet in the 1990s.
