Countering, on the other hand, is a "defense" action. There's no point abandoning Kimberly's strength in offense and going defensive. It's a lower-level version of other characters; even Blanka can use it. Use crouching medium punches. Skilled players are adept at switching between offense and defense, so they can switch to countering at key moments, but beginners up to Grandmaster level absolutely can't do it. That's because I can't do it either. Furthermore, distance management is incredibly difficult. I tend to use counters, but I know that distance management is no longer possible, so I use crouching heavy kicks and slides for counters. It's fine to do it whenever possible, but isn't it stupid to just aim for 600 damage + wake-up attacks? It's a waste of your life!!! That's it.
