A heartbreaking story has emerged from the Visakhapatnam boat tragedy as the lone survivor, Kare Chinna, recounts his desperate battle for survival in the middle of the sea. According to Chinna, a massive wave overturned their fishing boat while they were returning to shore after fishing. Seven fishermen struggled for hours in rough waters, clinging to hope as they fought to stay alive. One by one, his companions disappeared into the sea, leaving Chinna as the only survivor. After hours of drifting, he managed to reach a merchant ship and was rescued by its crew using a life jacket. He was later brought to Visakhapatnam by Indian Navy personnel and is currently receiving medical treatment. Meanwhile, search and rescue operations continue with boats, helicopters, and multiple agencies searching for the six missing fishermen. Authorities say the first 72 hours are the most critical in maritime rescue operations.
