La Sauna 2019 Biourbanism Artena, Italia

Urban acupuncture intervention in Artena Italy involving the local community and some pretty cool people from around the planet under the leadership of International Society of Biourbanism. The building of a Sauna into an abandoned cave filled with ancient cobblestones, trash and numerous items of no to little value. Tools available were limited to a wood saw, a hack saw, a hammer and nails. The wood provided was chestnut scraps from a lumber yard nearby. A great event based on the study of the local knowledge dating as far back as 2,500 years ago and filled with indelible memories.
