The suspension of INPEC (National Penitentiary and Prison Institute) officials will continue by decision of the Attorney General's Office, which extended for three months the precautionary measure against 10 employees under investigation for alleged irregularities during the entry of a musical group and the holding of a party at La Paz prison in Itagüí. The oversight body seeks to determine if there were breaches of security protocols, possible concealment of information, and inconsistencies in official reports. The measure remains in place while the disciplinary investigations proceed.
