Installing Z1's Nissan Frontier Catch Can Kit for all 3.8L and 4.0L V6 models
On today’s episode of DIYWILLY, I’m installing Z1's Off-Roads Nissan Frontier Catch Can Kit for all 3.8L and 4.0L V6 models. The catch can kit will condense the oil vapor from the PCV system and keep it from getting back in to the intake of the engine. Not all engines have fuel wash down of the valve and can cause oil and carbon build up to occur on the intake valves. This buildup on the valves can interfere with the valve seat, potentially causing a loss of power. For these reasons an oil catch can kit may help prolong the life of an engine.
