1971 MG Midget - Valve Seals/Springs, and Head Gasket Replacement
The purpose of this repair was to try and correct the car blowing oily smoke at certain times, and to try and correct a possible cause of fouling spark plugs. My assumption is that oil may be getting past the valve seals and leaking into the cylinders. I planed to replace the valve springs at the same time. Once I had the head off I found something else to fix first. Certainly not the professional way to fix the issue, but it’s my car and I think this will work.
