In this first part of our series, we leave Melbourne behind and head towards Adelaide, starting with one of the most beautiful drives in the world: The Great Ocean Road. From the peaceful banks of the Yarra River to the stunning coastal views of Victoria, this trip is more than just a vacation for us. As we set up our first campfire and tent at the Aire River West Campground, we reflect on what this experience truly means. Coming from Afghanistan, being able to travel freely, camp under the stars, and see our children play without fear is a sense of peace we once only dreamed of.
