Emergency Landing after Partial Power Loss at 2000' AGL in my Cirrus SR22T

** PLEASE READ ** I just want you all to remember as you watch this, I am a real human being who had a real emergency and this is in real time. It will be easy to sit at home on your couch and nitpick this (believe me, I already have!), but as someone who regularly runs emergencies, this still scared the crap out of me and was really disorienting. I am still proud of how I handled it, and have beat myself up for the things I want to improve on. I was very emotional at the end because I was headed out to Las Vegas for a work trip and had some really important commitments, and it was hitting me that my decision to fly myself was going to prevent me from those commitments. Ultimately everything worked out and I made it. Things I've already nitpicked: -I loaded in an approach to the closest runway which was 06 just to have more information, and ultimately remembered the winds were really high and that was a terrible idea. Once I knew I had the field, I set up for a normal pattern to 24 and left the approach in the avionics. I was all visual at that point, but I like to have a an extended runway in my avionics for reference. -I said too many words to ATC! I was alone in the plane and really wished I had someone to talk out loud to and I should have stuffed it. 😂 No big deal as it wasn't busy, but I was rambling. -My nervous tick of touching my O2 boomula made me laugh. Not really a nitpick, just a comment 😂 Things I'm really happy with: -My decision to turn around took me just over 5 seconds! 3-5 seconds is my goal for emergency decision making so I was proud of that. -Not pulling up a checklist at 2000' AGL. I ran flows that felt comfortable at that altitude (did not do a mag check until on the ground and did not switch to high boost as the checklist suggests) and got myself back to the airport. My rule is above 2000' troubleshoot, and I was right there, so the goal was returning to safety and I made it. -Staying calm. Inside, I felt crazy. You can see my eyes are wet. But I kept taking breaths and reminding myself I can do this, and this is what I've trained for. -Landing flaps 50! I was a little low and didn't want to add flaps that low. Just decided to land long with 50 in. I liked that. I know that regardless of how I handled this, I'll get ripped to shreds in the comments, but I realize it's really easy to do that if you're not in the left seat and just watching some woman fly an airplane on the internet. I've been dreading posting this, but I post my good moments and my scary moments, so hopefully you can learn something from my emergency. When I took the cowling off, the intercooler was disconnected from the coupling. The maintenance shop that replaced my alt 1 didn't tighten the bolts enough and it blew off from the high manifold pressure on take off, turning my turbo into a naturally aspirated. DA was 8000' so that left me with 58% power at full throttle. This was a different shop than the alt 1 & 2 failure. I have really bad luck apparently. Thankful for folks on the field who got me back up and running. Anyway, enough rambling. Ya'll won't read this.
