62. Tras la huella de Gabriela
En 1959 se instala frente al antiguo Centro Cultural de Chillán (hoy Centro de Extesión de la UBB) una escultura de tamaño real de la profesora y poetisa Lucila Godoy Alcayaga, más conocida como Gabriela Mistral. Ese sería el punto de partida del largo camino, que la efigie de la Premio Nobel de Literatura, realizado por la artista quirihuana Flor Pantoja, tendría que recorrer para llegar al lugar en donde siembre debió haber estado: en un colegio junto a sus queridos niños.
