Bison Homecoming | Bronx Zoo
In January 2022, the Bronx Zoo sent three male and three female American bison born at the Bronx Zoo to the 43,000-acre Osage Nation Ranch in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, where they joined the nearly 200 head of bison already there, adding another chapter to the history of the Bronx Zoo’s bison conservation efforts that spans more than 120 years. This documentary short captures the legacy of the Bronx Zoo and the work to save the bison.
