#067 - Eine riesige Holzlieferung und viel Arbeit am Fachwerk

Hello from Ducksteinhof! We were only supposed to be there to store our new wood delivery in a dry place. We need the wood to rebuild the floor of the main house and the roof of the outbuilding. But, as is so often the case on our listed farm, things don't go quite according to plan. While Hendrik is on his own for a while, we have to tidy up, sort the wood, and spend what feels like the whole day hauling timber. The weather is getting worse; the first rain showers are arriving, and as we uncover the timber framing, we discover further damage. Some panels are even coming loose, a gutter is causing problems, and we find suspicious signs of fungal growth in a few places. Luckily, the family arrives later, and together we even manage to get the heavy beams into place. You'll also find out why our farm is actually called "Ducksteinhof." Enjoy watching! If you like our renovation, we'd love a subscription, a thumbs up, and of course, your tips and experiences in the comments. If you'd like to support us in preserving the Ducksteinhof, we'd be delighted if you'd buy us a coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/ducksteinhof #Ducksteinhof #TimberFramedHouse #FarmRenovation #HistoricPreservation #TimberFramed #OldBuildingRenovation #SelfBuild #Restoration #Farm #HouseRenovation 00:00 Hendrik alone at the Ducksteinhof 02:38 The farm is slowly turning green again 03:52 Making room for the wood delivery 05:01 Rain!
