Why George Jones Called for Carrie Underwood to Vacate Country Music

George Jones was never much a fan of pop country, and it wasn't until his later years in the mid 2000's when he made very blunt remarks about the path that country music was finding itself on. During an interview latter in his career George Jones doubled down on his opinion of pop country when specifically asked about Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift.
