Mercedes W212 | E350 – Quick Engine Oil Change at Home

In this video, I change the engine oil and filter on a Mercedes-Benz E-Class E350 OM642, 2010 model. This is done easily without many special tools. The same method is more or less used on every W212 model and engine, though some differences exist, like oil capacity and filter designs, but the steps are the same. This is the old-school, classic way to change it. Most workshops do not remove the oil plug like this; they use the suction method. It’s faster and less messy, but I prefer this way because it gives a better understanding of the car’s condition, such as detecting any leaks or other issues that might need attention.
