Merhaba! In this video, I just want to share a story about the things I brought when I went to Turkey in 2019. I hope my friends who watch the video pay close attention, so they can analyze for themselves which items are necessary to bring or not. I've also listed some of the items I brought and additional information below. Hopefully, this can be a helpful reference for you when deciding what to bring when studying abroad, especially in Turkey. 🇹🇷 😁 1. Suitcase (Adjust to the total weight of your baggage and carry-on luggage. YTB awardees typically fly Turkish Airlines, which entitles you to 8 kg of carry-on luggage and 30 kg of carry-on luggage) 2. Documents Passport + photocopy Student visa + photocopy Diploma, transcript, and accreditation of your last school (original & legalized translation + photocopy) Biometric photo (Size 2x3; 3x4; 3.5x4.5; 4x6; 5x5; 5x6) National ID card + photocopy Medical report + photocopy National University Diploma Certificate + photocopy Report card Scholarship Agreement + photocopy Kabul Mektubu (Photocopy) (or print multiple copies) Yurt Belgesi (Dorm Placement Letter) 3. Pocket Money Bring as needed (dollars/lira are recommended) ATM card with Mastercard or Visa logo + activate mobile banking Important!!!! Other items to bring: "Bring things you don't have or are hard to find in Turkey." 4.
