She Paid for TWO Diagnoses... Both Were Wrong
In this video I take a look at a 2008 Pontiac G6 that has already been to another shop twice for a P0102 code. The first visit resulted in a recommendation for a new MAF sensor. The second visit ended with a recommendation for an air filter, except they couldn't get the screws out of the air box to replace it. A quick look at the scan data told a very different story. It only takes a few minutes to properly test a component and verify a fault before spending a customer's money. Let's see what was really causing the problem and why testing always beats guessing.
