Disposition to Prayer: Fundamentally, to the prayer of the heart. Using the Desert Fathers, the Fathers of the Church, we unite thought or reason with the heart; We offer the heart a plea for when it cannot meditate because it has lost its peace and its center, for when it has lost the silence that it surrenders to Christ and through which it offers itself.
