Three country train Liège, Belgium via Maastricht & Heerlen, The Netherlands to Aachen Germany Liege

The three country train (Dutch drielandentrein, German Dreiländerzug, French Train des trois pays) between Liège (Dutch Luik, German Lüttich) in Belgium, Maastricht, Valkenburg & Heerlen in The Netherlands and Aachen (Dutch: Aken, French Aix la Chapelle) in Germany is basically a train that used to be a route operated by 2 trains that has been merged into one line. On the section Liége in Belgium to Maastricht in the Netherlands this is an all station service and from Maastricht in The Netherlands to Aachen in Germany this is a fast train (regional express). The line number for this railway line is RE18 and it's being operated by Arriva Limburg, in the Netherlands.
