Despite the difficult political circumstances of that time, the Pontiff reminded the world of the responsibility of the authorities to protect human life - from conception to natural death. 📢 Why the Church cannot remain silent The Church is called to preach not only salvation, but also truth. Silence in the face of injustice and sin is also a sin. That is why Christians cannot remain indifferent to the demoralization of society, the destruction of moral values, or the violation of God's commandments. This also applies to the defense of the state. It is unfair when some people defend the country for years, while others try to hide behind other people's backs. Things must be called by their rightful names, even if someone does not like it. ⚠️ God's punishment and human responsibility Every sin has its consequences. Innocently shed blood cries out to heaven. When a war is going on in a country and thousands of abortions are taking place every month, it is a great tragedy and a wound for the entire society. You can't joke with God. Humanity always reaps the fruits of its own decisions. 🙏 Hope for Ukraine We do not ask for revenge, but we pray: "May God overcome evil." Ukraine today needs not only a moment of silence, but above all prayer, repentance and conversion.
