Micro Sinbad Glider - Maiden Flight
Built this balsa powered glider from Valueplanes. First saw the article in the March 2024 Model Aviation, page 40, by Greg Gimlick. Bought the kit with the motor, esc, and servos. Replaced the servos with my own. Covered with Coverite Microlite. Using a 2S450 Lipo AUW 8.0 ozs. Flies fine, very little trim needed. Need to tune my transmitter a bit more for expo on the elevator. Otherwise, all OK. Looking forward to trying it on a day when there is some lift. I test flew it early in the AM, 7:20.
