A Special look back in time to the year 2002. The R142 car classes are being delivered and slowly phasing out all SMEE type equipment from the IRT (numbered lines). Here are the original Automated announcements from the days when the 4 Line got the new R142a's. An interesting highlight as this was during the short time that the Grand Street shuttle was operating, so it was announced as a transfer at Bleecker Street.
