Drishyam TV9: Roopkund के Skeleton Lake के रहस्‍य से उठ गया पर्दा! | Roopkund Mystery Explained The mystery surrounding the "Skeleton Lake" at Roopkund in Uttarakhand has finally been unraveled. Scientists state that the approximately 200 skeletons found near the frozen lake belong to Indian tribal people from the 9th century who perished during a hailstorm. These skeletons were first spotted in 1942 by a British forest guard. Initially, it was believed that these human remains belonged to Japanese soldiers who were passing through this route during the Second World War. However, scientists have now discovered that these skeletons belong to pilgrims and locals who visited the site around 850 AD. उत्तराखंड के रूपकुंड में कंकाल झील के रहस्‍य से परदा उठ गया है. वैज्ञनिकों का कहना है कि जमी झील के पास मिले लगभग 200 कंकाल नौवीं सदी के उन भारतीय आदिवासियों के हैं जो ओले की आंधी में मारे गए थे. इन कंकालों को सबसे पहले साल 1942 में ब्रिटिश फॉरेस्‍ट गार्ड ने देखा था. शुरुआत में माना जा रहा था कि यह नर कंकाल उन जापानी सैनिकों के थे जो द्वितीय विश्‍व युद्ध के दौरान इस रास्‍ते से गुजर रहे थे. लेकिन अब वैज्ञानिकों को पता चला है कि ये कंकाल 850 ईसवी में यहां आए श्रद्धालुओं और स्‍थानीय लोगों के हैं.
