How Do People Get Tested For Dementia?
Neuropsychological testing is designed to test how well a person's brain is functioning and is often conducted for people who have dementia, stroke, learning disabilities, and other conditions that affect thinking. When someone is concerned about thinking changes, this is often what is recommended for someone to receive. This process can take several hours to be completed. Not everyone receives neuropsychological testing.
