This time, we're featuring "Honya Hitorigokochi," a bookstore, cafe, and exhibition space located in Hannō City, Saitama Prefecture. The first floor of this renovated 60-year-old traditional Japanese house houses approximately 1700 books, primarily focusing on philosophy, ethics, art, and design, and also features a cafe and exhibition space. The second floor houses a design office run by her partner, Masahiro Kamioka, making the entire building a hub for "books" and "design." "I want this to continue to be a space where all kinds of people feel comfortable," says the owner, Sae Kamioka.
