EP122 School Half Term (and an extra day)

Thanks to the school holidays, I have a chance to get an extra couple of days at the barn. However despite the weather being really mild, its been raining almost every day. As a result the barn is really damp. So I have had to put any painting on hold. Nonetheless theres a lot of bits to prep ready for paint. Following last weekends sort out of the upper deck – I have collected all the brown bits that need painting and I am working my way through them. Following the issues I faced with that contact adhesive last week, I thought it might be worth giving it a try on the more complicated panels where the old glue would have struggled. I have a go at one of the more difficult panels with reasonable results. Mark Davis pops in during the week with a plan to take two old lorry tyres on rims to a firm in Barking for disposal. Peter Veares wants the locking rings, and I might make use of the old rims to sit the RT on once the tyres have been removed.
