Watch the Volkswagen ART4ALL Online Edition #7 with Canadian artist Stan Douglas in conversation with curator Sven Beckstette about Ludwig van Beethoven and ragtime, Arnold Schoenberg and Italian prog rock, as well as the revolutions in jazz by Albert Ayler and Miles Davis. Douglas’ slide installation Deux Devises: Breath and Mime is exhibited in the current exhibition “Magical Soup” at the Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart – Berlin. VOLKSWAGEN ART4ALL, the interdisciplinary and free-of-charge program of lectures, screenings, conversations with artists, performances and multilingual guided tours is continuing to take place on the first Thursday of every month.
