Godzilla Suite | Godzilla vs. Biollante (Original Soundtrack by Koichi Sugiyama)

Unlike the previous disaster film, the 1989 movie 'Godzilla vs. Biollante' failed to achieve box office success. This was because audiences still hadn't forgotten the monster battle films of the late Showa era. Consequently, after a five-year hiatus, the director decided to create a film featuring a battle of monsters once again. The film explores its characterization and SF elements, focusing on the scene in the opening where Dr. Shiragami combines Godzilla's 'G-cells' with the genes of his deceased daughter using a rose to create the plant monster Biollante. Be in charge of the dragon Quest ost Koichi Sugiyama’s approach was more classically oriented, incorporating sweeping orchestral themes and dramatic flourishes, though his style differed notably from the bombastic gravitas of Akira Ifukube. 0:00 Toho Logo 0:43 Main Title 1:43 Chilling Premonition 2:00 First Alert 2:35 Second Alert 2:58 Countdown 4:28 Godzilla Titles (from ostinato) 6:06 Godzilla vs. Biolantte in Ashinoko 9:56 Psychic Standoff 11:35 Fourth Alert 12:06 Godzilla Destroys Osaka 13:18 Fight in the Business Park II 16:00 Attack 17:37 Godzilla vs. the Army (from ostinato) 20:37 Godzilla vs. Biolantte in Wakasa All copyrights to this music belong to Koichi Sugiyama.
