Our adventure through Kyrgyzstan continues! 🇰🇬 We start our day in the mountains near Naryn, but soon realize that we've run out of gas. Unfortunately, we have to leave our beautiful campsite and head back to the city to find a refill. Easier said than done! After visiting a local building materials market, we finally manage to refill our gas at a fuel station. We then discover another amazing place to stay and, because of the rainy weather, decide to spend two relaxing days there. While Dimi tries his luck fishing, Kathrin enjoys some well-deserved rest. Then everything changes... We receive a spontaneous invitation from travelers to visit them at Lake Issyk-Kul, and of course we happily accept! On our way, we meet Daniel, a cyclist from Italy whom we had already met twice before in Kazakhstan. A little later, five friendly Kazakh travelers stop to chat with us, reminding us once again how incredibly welcoming people are in Central Asia. When we finally arrive at Lake Issyk-Kul, Philipp and his family welcome us with such warmth that we are truly overwhelmed.
