In the first episode of the 2023/24 season of Lake Trout Academy, we find ourselves in the province of Pavia, at Lake "Carpe Diem 2.0," a man-made lake with an irregular bottom, ranging in depth from 2 to 10 meters. Having established the common thread that connects all the episodes of this new season ("HOW TO CHOOSE"), Daniele reveals the topic of the first episode: how to choose...the right FISHING ROD for lake trout fishing. We'll cover lengths, actions, structure, and casting weights, and answer questions like: "Is a three-section rod or a telescopic one better? Which action and casting weight are best for us? A tremarella or a bombarda rod? How can we optimize our investment budget?"
