Microscan Verification Monitoring Interface (VMI) - Grade and Monitor Code Quality

This video demonstrates the Verification Monitoring Interface (VMI) software plug-in for Microscan's AutoVISION Machine Vision Software. This custom monitoring tool displays data and images specific to barcode quality verification, including grading to ISO parameters and graphing barcode quality trends over time. Manufacturers can use this live data to set alarms or trigger actions based on low barcode quality, which may indicate degradation of the printing or marking system. With VMI on the production line, poor and unreadable codes are prevented from entering the supply chain, greatly reducing potential scrap, downtime, and fines.
