In today's video, I went to the village of Jequitibá, in the municipality of Mundo Novo, Bahia, to learn about the inspiring story of Mr. Paulo. For many years, Mr. Paulo worked as an instructor at an auto mechanics school. But with the school's closure, he faced a great challenge: he needed to start over. That's when he decided to follow a completely different path. Today, Mr. Paulo lives exclusively from honey production, working with beekeeping (bees with stingers) and also meliponiculture (stingless bees). In the backyard of his own house, he built a true meliponary, where he cares for the bees and produces honey in an artisanal way, respecting nature and the balance of the environment.
