Meltdowns Are Tough On Our Autistic Kid
Our autistic girl had a big meltdown today. It happened at gymnastics but I don't think that was the only cause. I feel there was a build up throughout the day that I may have missed. Gymnastics was just not something that was going to work today. Meltdowns are some of the toughest things we have to watch Braylee go through. Something we always have to remember as parents and caregivers, it is much harder for her than it is for us. She is the one going through it. I have learned that I can be much more helpful for her if I approach my feelings and emotions the right way. #weefam #autism #autistic Our website: www.weefam.com
