The Great flat lode situated near Redruth in Cornwall, called the flat lode because the lode of tin/copper ran at such a shallow angle opposed to many other Cornish mines that were a lot almost vertical. running about a 60 degree angle the way into the mine can be accessed via the old lode that runs to surface, mine from early 1800s through to the end of the 18th century. enjoy.
