Psalm 119 Book Spread

Today’s spread is inspired by Psalm 119:130: “The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand.” I had so much fun experimenting with some new supplies and techniques in this spread. Sometimes it’s easy to think wisdom comes from reading more books, finding better methods, or having all the answers. But Psalm 119 reminds us that true understanding begins with God’s Word. As I played with layers, colors, and a few things outside my comfort zone, I was reminded that creativity doesn’t have to be perfect—and neither do we. We can keep learning, keep growing, and trust that the Lord gives light and wisdom to ordinary people who seek Him. Life is messy.
