VIDEO ESSAY (2017): This video essay looks at the art of screen acting. The video highlights the Kuleshov effect and, using clips from Ryan Gosling's filmography (Drive, Half Nelson, The Place Beyond The Pines, La La Land), demonstrates how an actor can be very subtle when they are acting on camera. Narrated & edited by Mark Duggan. Video was made to coincide with the launch of 'EP Showreels' (2017), a side venture that provided actor showreels, training videos, etc.
