【沼】F2通しズームを手放すか、本気で悩んでます|プロのレンズ構成見直し

Sony has announced a new super-telephoto zoom lens, the "FE 100-400mm F4.5 GM OSS." But today's post isn't a review of that new product. Actually, this lens's release has prompted me to completely re-evaluate my current lens setup. Should I stick with constant F2 zooms, or return to the "holy trinity" of constant F2.8 zooms? This is the first installment of my serious 고민 (worry/debate). Currently, I cover wide-angle to medium telephoto with the 28-70mm F2 GM and 50-150mm F2 GM, both constant F2 zooms. However, the 100-400mm focal length gap has been persistent, and as I considered how to fill this gap, my thoughts expanded to my entire lens configuration. Adding a teleconverter to the 70-200mm F2.8 GM II would extend the telephoto range, and perhaps even adding the 24-70mm F2.8 GM II to return to the "holy trinity" might be a good idea. But can I really give up the delicate rendering of an F2 lens? I'm torn between practicality and romance. I haven't reached a conclusion yet. That's why, over the next few posts, I'll delve into the appeal of an F2 lens and the usability of the "Big Three" zoom lenses, and finally, I'll give my own answer.
