In Luke 23:43, did Jesus mean that he would be in paradise with the hanged criminal at his side that very day, or was he simply being emphatic when he said, "I say to you today..."? Some suggest that the comma should come before the word "today," while others—like Jehovah's Witnesses—claim it should come after. Could Jehovah's Witnesses be mistaken in this case? Is it possible that in other Bible versions the comma is correctly placed? If so, does that mean their religious interpretation is correct, or are they missing something important?
