So I tried to make it super beginner friendly but also not too slow for more advanced users. I do think the order of color correction could be adjusted, possibly normalize the clip then add the assets and match the ground asset to the normalized shot. It felt like I may have pushed it a little bit with the method shown in the video. Also this video was death to edit. I'm on the road and back on my terrible old laptop. After dozens of crashes and curse words we got there in the end. I'm renting a computer starting tomorrow to do client work, so hopefully that'll make for a better tutorial next week.
