Tamiya Hilux High Lift | with the Red Leaf Springs

This Tamiya Hilux High Lift was my very first RC. It was a kit then. Since it is running on leaf springs it really can not perform the impossible like the TRX4/TRX6 or the REDCAT with 4 links. The stock TAMIYA springs are stiff. As I moveon with this hobby i come along with this leaf springs from RC4WD, so there i give it a go. And wow, i never enjoyed this truck more than ever since i have it. In this run i noticed some things that needs to be improved. i installed the stock trx4 motor and esc. i think i will change with a holmes hobbies/ hobbywing combo. and yeah not to forget the transmission- it is really low- hang up many times. it is like having a dig unit. it is either i need to be a better driver or i do something to raise it at least a centimeter of the ground. Im running with the stock gen8 wheel tire combo, irock super swampers, they are nice and grippy. they are big and scratching the body but i will still keep them to gain more clearance anyways they are not scratching all the time.
